When best-selling romance novelist Casey Warren is sent to California for research on her new book, she never imagined herself paired up with the real-life persona of her sexy main character.

Jonah Coleman, surf shack and Tiki bar owner with a white knight complex, never believed when his friend and literary agent Becca Tomlin asked for a favor, that it would bring a quiet East Coast writer into his life.

But as Casey becomes more engrossed with not only her writing but her budding romance with the gorgeous surfer/tour guide, things take a turn towards the dark. Casey begins to suspect a darker side to Surf City, and that suspicion focuses on not only Jonah, but his closest friends as well.
