In the World of the Dragon-Bound:

The Silverdale Brewer's Guild had killed Chaif Taibor's father. Chaif had vowed to make the Guild pay, but his revenge became complicated. During a daring theft, Chaif accidentally bonded with a dragon's egg. Now he is a thief who cannot lie. Captured, Chaif discovers the Guild is just the first layer of corruption in Silverdale.
