Dragon's Lair

Arthwys is defender of the Britons and has won eleven victories over the enemies of his people. Yet he grows weary of war. He yearns for peace and the chance to rebuild. He shares a vision of Camulod with his sister Lailoceen: a fine new city inspired by the splendour of Rome. But there are many who would threaten their peace. Maelgwyn lurks in his dragon's lair where he plots to overthrow Arthwys and steal the title of Uthyr Pendragon through deception and murder.

Arthwys is haunted by the mysterious Green Man as he confronts his own mortality. He seeks to strengthen his faith and that of the Britons and so sends his finest pendragons on a quest to seek the holy grail cup. With or without this, Arthwys must hold the Britons together against their enemies, while Maelgwyn seeks chaos and civil war.

Only those closest to Arthwys truly understand his power to inspire the spirit of the Britons and only they can turn that power into legend.
