Duff Kerrigan, PI

in "Prisoner of Guilt," Duff is hired by a one-time girlfriend to protect a young girl from a released jailbird whom she testified against.

In "Past Imperfect," Duff searches for the person who shot his father in the back and killed him.

In "Cry, Baby," Duff is hired by a woman to destroy a drug-running gang who she says corrupted her husband.

All three stories take place in Maine.
