Earflap Hat

This is a knitting pattern for a hat with double-knit ear flaps. The hat uses about 160 yards (146 m) of worsted weight yarn on US 8 (5.0mm) needles at a gauge of 5 stitches per inch. The hat is worked flat. The pattern includes written directions for the hat and the double-knit stitch. The head used for modeling the hat is about 25" around (63.5 cm).
