Earth's Last Hope

An invader of biblical magnitudes entered the solar system. It passed through the Kuiper belt (that band of icy rocks and protoplanets at the far end of the solar system) almost unnoticed. Had it not been for the efforts of Dr. Richards, it might have stayed undetected until it was too late.
