Echelon

Maia Thomas, the pregnant wife of the late prophet John Thomas, cannot stay with the human rebels. They are convinced her unborn child will save humankind from the Darushee, aliens who have taken over Earth, and are determined to train her child from infancy, even if doing so destroys her mind. Desperate to keep her child safe, Maia escapes but finds she needs more help than she thought. Her only hope is to rely on the outcast bounty hunter, Kaylan, to help her get away.
