Energy Conservation Plan- A Failure‪?‬

Byline: Ismat Sabir Annual energy import bill may increase to $50 billion by 2026 from the present amount of $12 billion, 2010-11. The energy companies advised the government to raise domestic energy tariff and sell natural gas and power to all the consumers at the same rate. It was also suggested that slab benefits being given to domestic consumers, especially benefits poor, should be abolished.
