Exovelum

After starting work as a nightwatchman in a huge office complex, Alexander Manning finds there’s one intruder he could never have predicted. It shows up in the same place, at exactly the same time, once a week, a trespasser in the dead of night whose entry into the building it’s impossible to prevent.

The intruder is something incredible: a glitch in the fabric of reality itself, a flaw in the programming that suggests everything is merely an illusion, the result of a computer-generated simulation designed to mimic an actual universe.

At first Alexander finds himself mesmerised by this eye-pleasing visitor – until strange, disturbing events that defy explanation start shattering the calm of his normally uneventful graveyard shifts. The glitch may not be what it seems, and it may be far, far more dangerous than it looks.
