Charles thought he knew what had happened in Park Street, just as well as the now-empty buildings he passed on his way to work every day. Yet a sudden small change to the deserted place sends him spiralling on a journey. Soon he is not only revealing the truth around what happened there, but also about himself, the community, and his late father. His world spins out of order, as he struggles to come to terms with facts that have been kept from him all his life. He befriends and supports the victims, soon realising he is, in fact, one of them.
