Feast of the Seven Moons

Feast of the Seven Moons is a collection of memoir, poetry, and a little fiction by seven senior women who have been meeting on-line for three years. The structure of the group is based on the Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) method.  The leader provided us with prompts -- phrases, poems, and music – and we wrote in response.  After each writing, we read our pieces aloud and received feedback which helped us decide which pieces to type up and include in the book.

Through our writing practice, we have each discovered our own voice, which is as unique as why each of us write, samples of which you will find under the Appetizer and Dessert sections.

We invite you to journey with us through our writing and our lives, and to witness as we each find and deepen our voices through telling our stories. Maybe, just maybe, you may be sparked by desire and an urge to express yourselves as we have.
