Apple's Final Cut Pro X was given a chilly reception by Hollywood, but the critics have been proven wrong. Focus, a 2015 Warner Bros. release, starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie, was edited on FCP X. Written by the film's First Assistant Editor, this book discusses tips, tricks and techniques used to navigate the complex world of feature film post-production.

First Hand Experience
I bought the book the minute it came out. It describes the workflow used for the feature film Focus with Will Smith. It's very interessting to read how a lot of idealistic professionals (from script to camera and editing) agreed to work with FCPX on a feature length movie bringing FCPX to the next level. Mike mentions every single tool they used during this hollywood production. This book is sure not for beginners and not a how to use fcpx but an explanation of the things you should be aware of if you consider editing a feature movie in FCPX.
