Fire Resistant

When life pushes you to the edge…

Reno firefighter Desmond "Dez" Andrews lives for the rush—until a single night derails everything he's built in the years since he lost his family. Wrongfully charged with drug possession, he's determined to serve his community hours and get back to saving lives.

Hazel Gerard has spent her life seeking solitude in the wilds. The last thing she needs is an arrogant firefighter who thinks he's doing her a favor by showing up. Yet as they lead a group of young conservationists through Nevada's backcountry, Hazel sees sparks of something deeper in Dez—something that tempts her to let down her guard.

But fires can burn, and secrets have a way of unraveling even the strongest connections…
