The Progeny have interfered with Imminent for the last time.

Remorse has invested eons establishing the Vast Collective. He refuses to lose this galaxy to his son and his aggravating Progeny mate, Tameka Phillips. Once Remorse abducts his grand-offspring, he can use the boy to rebuild Imminent and reassert control over the Vast Collective.

Let the Progeny take Enki – the Dyson Sphere Remorse had claimed as home for his people. Let them destroy his hand-crafted armies. Everyone else in Imminent could fall – so long as Remorse escapes with Pax.

But the longer it takes Remorse to escape, the more time the Progeny has to gather the Vast Collective's forces against him. The probable futures rest on his shoulders, and only Tameka stands in his way.
