Her Slipstream device damaged and malfunctioning, Jennifer drifts randomly through time and appears at a stranger's doorstep near death and barely conscious. She awakens days later and realizes that fate has brought her to the one man that might be able to help her fix the future; the Grandfather of time travel.

Cut off from support, the company she works for decimated and erased from history, she must find a way to restore the Slipstream to its original course, or go back to a future and face Mankind's near-extinction.

Once spread out across the stars, Man is now fighting for their survival in a corporate run world, where the dead are fed to the living in order to sustain the dwindling population barely limping through a wasteland of dirt, foul water, and toxic air.

Newfound allies help her on her quest, but a dark vision of her future is discovered, and she must find a way to fulfill her duty without meeting the grisly fate bearing down on her. Is her future set in stone, or can she find some way to slip the reaper’s grasp before it’s too late?
