Marcus lied about his age to join the legions. He didn't come from a wealthy and power family. He sought recognition and glory through battle. Finding himself assigned to the Ninth Roman Legion. Marcus is thrust into a world where the horrors of war are almost outmatched by the horrors of things that come out of the darkness.
