Forgiven

Commander Alek Pierce lived for the sky—but after a training accident threatened to end his flying career, he was left fighting for the one thing that always defined him. Love never had a place in his world, and he intended to keep it that way.

Until Shannon McKenzie.

Shannon built her life around control, independence, and a determination to never fall for the wrong man again. But when Alek walked into her clinic with his mother's dog, he was everything she shouldn't want—charming, off-limits, and far too dangerous to trust.

Because Alek wasn't just trouble…

He was her best friend's stepbrother.

What started as undeniable chemistry became stolen moments and late-night confessions neither of them could resist. When the walls between them finally fell, it was more than just passion—it was something that felt dangerously like home.

But with his future in the Navy hanging in the balance and the risk of losing everything they'd built, Alek and Shannon would have to decide—

Play it safe… or fight for a love that refused to stay grounded.
