Free to Hate ... Afraid to Love

Southern Africa, the 1970s and 1980s.

In Mozambique, for freedom fighter Rodrigo to keep his movement relevant to the people and their foreign donors, he must strategise, organise, and debate. This also means helping his people stay alive in their camps around Mozambique and in the Swaziland (eSwatini) bushes. As guerillas, death won't take them by surprise.  

In South Africa, Pedro – an obedient South African farm worker – must do the right thing to win the hearts and minds of the white masters on the farm. But how easy can it be, under apartheid's dark glare?

When Rodrigo and Pedro meet in England, a new peace of mind is signified by a white-feathered bird. But first they must learn that if there is freedom in hate, then there is fear in love.
