From The Village to the Vision is a collection of short stories about the intertwining lives of characters living in a small seaside village called The Village on the Edge of the Sea. The book is a sequel to a previous collection called The Village on the Edge of the Sea. In this sequel, you can find much of the drama, romance, and suspense that can be found in the first book. The author idealizes the institutions that form the social and spiritual life in The Village. But, as the book concludes, events happen that will cause you to rethink your conceptions of ordinary life and ordinary people.
