Galactic Interceptor Marshal Luke Slate

Luke Slate intercepts criminals all over the galaxy. His orders are clear, arrest the criminal or eliminate them.  His marshal status sends him to planets and he docks on space platforms that hold permanent inhabitants. One of his greatest concerns plagues him because of the wanton and bloodthirsty pirates that leave none of the crews of freighters alive and literally destroy the ships leaving useless debris floating in empty space. He travels from constellation to constellation using interdimensional technology but so do the heinous pirates that disappear into the galactic star regions with no clues.
