It's the last night of the transit of Venus across the Sun, and Lady Venus, the goddess who resides in the fountain in front of the IU Auditorium, has a dilemma . . . she needs to find a suitable human to accompany her on her journey this evening, and while the night is drawing near, and the fish in the fountain are getting nervous, Lady Venus knows that her kindred human spirit will arrive in time . . . she hopes.


But it can't be just any ordinary human. It has to be a human of particular depth and understanding. And what will happen if the human does not appear? Well, the mission will fail. The artist will die, and her work will die with her.
