Govind, Shivaji’s Warrior

In an adventurous age, a young man sets out on a new life of stirring action—as perhaps the most unusual recruit to Shivaji’s armies. Hindu by birth and religion, Portuguese by affection and upbringing, Govind has left his foster-father Dom Pedro in order to seek out his true heritage. After turning his sword towards campaign and conquest in his king’s service, Govind faces the ultimate test: a duel which is a battle of warring love and loyalty. The struggle continues with his search for his real father, his family and his past. And for loves to replace those he has renounced in his quest for soul and selfhood.
