Greenhorn on the Frontier

Driven by land hunger and a love of freedom, Harry Warrilow and his sister Sukey struggled across the rugged Alleghenies dragging all their worldly possessions in a handcart. But the frontier settlement of Pittsburgh was not their final destination. They pushed on through the mountains and woods to the north to hue and carve a farm out of the stern Pennsylvania wilderness to make the first real home either of them had ever known.
