Grinjer's home is a nice forest where huge trees grow. His Grandma and Grandpa live in one of these huge trees. At the foot of the tree, where his Grandma lives, is a huge lake. Here Grinjer and his friends like to swim. Grinjer is very good in "hide and seek", he wins almost every time, like Kreko the emperor of the old forest. His friends like his curiosity and the way he talks about his Grandpa and his Grandpa's adventures.

"It's really cool", said my son with two thumbs up
... That was his response when I asked my 9 year old how he finds Grinjer. We have a "30min iPad time per day" rule for him at home, and he actually was willing to trade all his gaming time for reading Grinjer for the past few days! He was also excited to see the recipes at the end, and really look forward to making cotton candy at weekend.
I haven't read it myself, but from what my son told me, it must be quite an interesting read. So highly recommended.
