A transplant patient from a local hospital is missing without a trace. The patient’s surgeon didn’t dismiss him. So who did?

Someone posing as a surgeon dismissed Dr. Guest’s patient, but why? The hospital administrator is in on it and suggests to the young surgeon that she keep her mouth shut.

Searching from the East Coast to the West Coast to find her patient, Dr. Guest may be walking into a trap set up just for her.
