Harbinger of Springtime

Recollections from his past suddenly return, haunting Ian Harbinger in wanting to know about the death of his Aunt Anastasia. By some premonition he finds himself back at the old family home in Cambridgeshire that was once owned by his aunt and where he spent all his school holidays. It now stands empty but by dubious means he gains access into 'Homemead' and discovers certain unanswered questions. It forces him into a sense of loyalty to use his long overdue leave as an engineer from the off-shore oil industry and he embarks, setting out to resolve exactly what happened to his beloved aunt. Against a background of historical intrigue he travels to Namibia where as a geologist she worked living amongst the desert people the Herero. Ian's determination to reach a conclusion with his quest has no boundaries… What awaits him in the desert of Namibia is unexpected and - totally life changing!
