Where are we as people going and how are we going to get there? Scientifically speaking we are doomed. It may take a million, a billion, or even several billion years but eventually the collection of knowledge and all the great things that people have been doing since they showed up on earth will be gone.

Does it have to be that way? The characters in this book may have found a means in which all the knowledge mankind has been collecting can be preserved and maybe even "mankind" itself.

David Shipley is a new author that is fascinated with science. While exploring media regarding the existence of life elsewhere in the universe he was motivated to consider how we could actually come into contact with other life. He was a lifeguard in Southern California with literally hundreds of rescues. After college he flew in the US Air Force and then became an engineer at Lockheed Martin. He is no rookie to technology; he has been engulfed in it for years and he uses that knowledge in his books.
