Help!!!! A Vampire Knows Where I Live

Twelve year old Orson “Nubbs” Spicepatch has always known that he is weird but he just got weirder. He can hear voices from up to twenty miles away. It’s terrifying. He hears a vampire digging his way up from the ground. He also meets a 109 year old vampire slayer who tells Orson that HE is the new slayer and that is why his hearing has changed. The old slayer’s hearing has transferred to him. “The vampire is coming, that’s why you hear him. You must protect Whispering Pines.” The old slayer drops dead leaving Orson, the new slayer, to fight the bloodthirsty vampire alone. Orson is terrified.
