Henrietta's Redemption

Rising from humble beginnings, Henrietta Blanchard is now a successful attorney in Houston, Texas. She and her partners focus on representing bitter and angry women in property settlements following divorce from wealthy husbands who left them for much younger women.

Although Henrietta is promiscuous, a dark secret keeps her from falling in love–and more importantly–makes it impossible for her to trust any man or to experience fulfilling sex.

At her mother’s insistence, she returns to her hometown of Cut Off for Christmas. She attends midnight Mass with her family, and literally bumps into Bradley Graham.

Bradley is a marine attorney for a large shipbuilding and offshore company. He’s tall, dark, and handsome and Henrietta fears that his silvery-grey eyes can see inside her soul.

Sparks of desire fly, but both have been hurt and disappointed in the past.
