Here Are Those Who Suffer, And You Think Of A Stupid Final

One-act drama.
Technically it is called diffusion of responsibility, 'whereby a person is less likely to take responsibility for an action when others are present. The individual assumes either that others are responsible to act or that they have already taken that responsibility'.
In this drama, another paradox is played out. Everyone is only willing to break through indifference if there is something concerned, a loved one for example. But as soon as one is certain that that relative or friend is not involved at all, here is when indifference returns to dominate their lives, leaving others to take the initiative towards the suffering stranger.
Only a person, who will say that restraint does not mean entrenchment and who will renounce being like others after having wished for it all his life, will go unselfishly towards the needy being, risking his own survival
