The Butte Trail of Pilot Mountain is one of my favorite places in the world.
But it's the last place I should be after dark.
And when a deranged psycho starts chasing me, I know I'm f*cked.

But then a hooded stranger saves me on the brink of a brutal assault, and has his men take me somewhere "safe," which really amounts to nothing more than a dark room with a dog bed to sleep on.
It's this same dark room where the hooded stranger treats me like a dog, calling me with the snap of a finger and placing a leash and collar around my neck. He refuses to speak to me, or show me his face.

I'm told that I wanted this all along.
But it isn't what I wanted. It was all just a misunderstanding.
A misunderstanding that comes from a dark part of my past. A part that I regret.
A part that almost cost me my life.
A part I thought was over.
But it isn't.
And it won't be over until someone dies…
