Hippos in the cherry tree is a children's book created by Austrian artist Gerald Herrmann (idea and text), illustrated by Robert Rottensteiner and compiled by Christian Mader (text, layout, audio).

It is the story of the hippos Fred and Willie who spend a whole year on a farm - far away from their home in Africa.
