Holiday Affair

The halls are decked and the mistletoe is hanging high, even Jack Frost is a little sauced from the eggnog. But for Devlin Bedford, vice president of the prestigiously run Bedford Building & Loan, life, as well as Christmas, lacks a little holiday spirit.
Devlin often finds himself trapped in small town politics, passing his time attending pompous committee meetings and dealing with the exasperating yet humorous locals. Still he longs for more from life despite his challenging and mysterious past that haunts him each morning at 4:48 a.m.
As Christmas approaches, his holiday is lifted considerably when he meets Emma Gibson, a bright light in the cold surroundings to remind him of the enduring gift of love. But local misers and a terrifying past threaten to keep this couple from happiness or even be able to live to see a Merry Christmas.
