Holiday Gifts of Love

Lyndsay Barnes began a new life when she moved to Dickens a year ago. She's formed a strong bond with Shawn Murphy, volunteering at the Dickens Children's Group Home. His warm smile and kind demeanor gradually found a way into the depths of her heart. Just when she begins to embrace the joy of newfound love, the shadows from her past threaten to unravel everything she has cherished.

With the festive holiday season drawing near and everything she holds dear hanging in the balance, she needs a Christmas miracle to mend her broken spirit.

Shawn Murphy, who grew up in a military family, feels a strong connection to the abandoned Victorian house on the edge of town because it once served as a refuge for veterans. The town has given him until the end of December to finish the exterior repairs, or it will be demolished. Unfortunately, he does not have enough money to complete the repairs before the deadline.

This past year, he's enjoyed the company of Lindsay Barnes, working with the children in the group home. After an unhappy marriage, he's reluctant to take another chance on love. There are things about her past that she's never shared, but common sense is losing to what his heart is telling him.
