Holy Smoke

‘Holy Smoke! It’s Father Floppy Feet’ is about the life and Ministry of Father Phinehas Floppy-Feet and his fabulous family. It is obvious that this book is modelled on the life and exploits of the author, Father Barry May, as his ‘alter-ego’. 

In this volume there are many references to the family members and in particular to Phinehas’ beloved and endearing wife Foxglove, and interwoven into the script are many messages,  and sometimes painful experiences, that have also been part of the author’s life. 

Obviously this book is written as a tribute to the author’s wife Kath, who passed away in November 2011. The author has vowed that, having accomplished this task, he now feels free to ‘lay down his quill’ for the final time. 

This is the completion of the family’s life rounds off Father Barry's literary works up to the present day. Enjoy the ride and appreciate the sentiments expressed therein as they are basically true and written with the love and appreciation of Kathleen Joyce May as wife, help-mate and dearest friend. May she rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon her.
