Horace

In a quiet country town, very little happens - until one thoughtless act sets something terrible in motion.

Horace is a near-genius outsider. Awkward, brilliant and entirely unequipped for the complexities of human behaviour, he lives with his grandmother and keeps mostly to himself.

Then he makes a mistake.

What follows is a slow-burning chain of cause and effect as resentment festers, old wounds resurface and the ordinary begins to give way to something far more sinister. At the centre of it all is Horace: socially detached, intellectually formidable and dangerously unprepared for the consequences unfolding around him.

Populated by characters who are complex, flawed and disturbingly authentic, Horace ventures into the darker corners of human nature, where morality is rarely straightforward and actions - even seemingly insignificant ones - can have devastating repercussions.

Laced with dark humour, brutally sharp and deeply unsettling, Horace is an unpredictable descent into violence, human weakness and the strange logic of revenge.

This is not a story that asks for permission and it is certainly not for the faint-hearted.
