When American Skyler Johnston is kidnapped, she manages a heart-pounding escape, only to be cornered in the hotel room of a lithe, enigmatic man. He seems to fall for her, too—at least their sizzling kisses suggest more than simple chemistry. But is Cliff just mixing pleasure with his business? And then the kidnappers come back for round two...but it's not Skyler they've come for this time.

Warning: If you want a book about a simpering heroine and manly man, this isn't it. Oh, the man is as ruggedly handsome and boldly competent as you could want. But the heroine is argumentative, competitive, and has a temper. One who makes mistakes and has real emotions around them. If you want to read a story about a hero who can handle that, well then, this is your book.
