"What would it change when the gols came? Tall tales don't save lives. We integrated and that makes us G.A. — greens, browns, blues not an Officer out there that doesn't know that what that comes down to is that's us against the ucrnu and no two ways about it."

"Yeah yeah if it was earlier'an july we could've skipped them, what's its? Pyrex stoves? Bronze age or whatever but people are still people, we vote on it or not. War'd have war'ed and big man was gonna try'an crush the little one whether it was with rocks or a G.A. grade missile launcher.

Integrated planet's run themselves, them's just the breaks. We outside the sphere's don't interfere less it's goin on massive scale and even then it's no guarantee which way the majority's gonna have us act.

Why most times we should stick to the Officers that actually go in — or least ones who know the real 'stead of what's on a screen. But that's not what you asked."

"As an Officer I'd have it on record that I recognize much as the next Officer that the G.A. does all we can about somethin as one region problem as poverty and as much a world problem as health care, issues like land dates don't mean squat as far as where help is needed. 

We do good work and I think anyone who can claim that we should be allowed to keep at it s'long as that holds true. We make a difference and that's really all there is to it."

This is a story that takes place in an alternate universe where Earth is a part of the Golgo'tha Alliance, a federation of hundreds of planets united by one objective — bringing an end to the enemy known as the urcnu.

All G.A. Officers on Earth swear to that mission but it is those in the Earth-Golgo'tha Unit — proudly spacies to some — who specifically train to uphold it. It goes without saying that spacies are the frontline Units in times of ucrnu, a spacie won't be blindsided by the unknowable nature of the constantly evolving threat because a spacie knows to expect the unexpected.

There is no 'me' in team, or in pair, or in Unit — if you're gonna me me me then you're better of doin somethin that ain't an Officer.
