No one likes going to the doctor to get "shots" and 8 year old April Roberts is no different! Every year she tries something new to get out of them. See how April navigates her doctor's visit this year and what she learns while at the doctor!

This children's book is a non-fictional depiction of Azjaah's first encounter with Dr Hamilton, an African American Pediatrician. Dr. Hamilton was surely a trailblazer through the care she provided each year and painted a picture of the wonders of medicine. Azjaah, like Dr Hamilton, hopes to inspire other children to pursue a career in medicine through her creative writing and patient care.
