I Used to Be So Messed Up

As hard as it was to write my autobiography, it's that much harder to write the description. It feels like I'm being asked to condense my life's story into a couple of paragraphs. Who wants to do that? It's like being asked to wear those dress shoes that are way too tight and have all the padding and flexibility of lawnmower blades and absolutely carve into the back of your ankles as you pull them on, but you know you have to because it's your wedding.


Anyway, the description. Yeah. This book takes the reader through my topsy-tilty life, from my childhood to my rise to prominence as lead rapper in the popular band Cilantro to the days when it all went Horribly Wrong because I was so messed up all the time. Then I openly talk about being in rehab, and how I've been clean for five months now and totally have it all together again. So it's got a happy ending. Which is why I wrote this book. It has nothing to do with the cost of treatment centers, I swear. Honestly. If you can find it in your eyes, please read this book.
