ICEBERG AND PUDDLE

Iceberg had lived happily with his family and two best friends, Dolphin and Seal, for over seven years.

It was becoming increasingly obvious to the elders in the group, that the baking sun was starting to melt the ice. With every passing day, someone they knew would suddenly crash below the water, only to reappear and simply float away on the tide, never to be seen again.

One day, Iceberg felt dizzy, as if something was trying to spin him around. He looked to his parents for some reassurance, but in a second, he was no longer attached to the group. He began to drift away, while his family was screaming and crying, but nothing could be done.

As the land he knew slowly disappeared from view, two heads popped up from beneath the water. Dolphin and Seal couldn't let their friend face this journey alone. They would stay with Iceberg, no matter what might happen. The innocent sun would follow their adventures, unwittingly, eating away at Iceberg every second of the waking day.
