From the moment he saw her, Shaun had never been the same. Being a nerdy, struggling artiste, he was having trouble getting inspiration to paint and upon seeing the depth and intensity of Elaine Spencer's eyes in a club one night, he was fixated on finding her- In the Big City. Unbeknownst to him and his longtime friend Aaron, Aaron and Elaine Spencer seemed to have a rather close and personal relationship.

The only daughter of Thomas and Nadia Spencer, Hollywood elite and power couple, Elaine, preferred a life away from the glamour. Although she had only the best growing up, she had a passion for photography drawing her to almost every street on New York City It was on one such occasion she met Shaun Wegner- scrawny looking and disheveled. Drawn to him for some reason she could not understand, she makes him the subject of her lens. Their many near encounters remained a constant until they finally get a chance to be properly introduced on a night where all hell broke loose in Elaine's world.
