Having recently graduated from college, Jennifer Adams was excited to start her career as a event planner and moved to Toronto to have more opportunity in the entertainment industry. She had always loved planning elaborate events and she was good at it. It also didn't hurt her chosen career that she had a minor in dance. She was looking to expand this career into something amazing. At then, at one of her first events, she met Kelvin.

Tall, handsome and rich, Kelvin Prescott was immediately smitten by Jennifer, and he pursued her hard and passionately, swooping her off to exciting destinations and plying her with expensive gifts. But he was also sweet, and kind, and generous.

When Jennifer discovers she is pregnant, Kelvin is quick to propose, and their four-month love affair turns into an engagement blossoming in love. But immediately after the wedding, things change. Kelvin changes.

Taken off guard by the severeness of Kelvin's new personality and his possessiveness over Jennifer, she is sure that the stress of the quick wedding and the baby on the way has had a negative impact on Kelvin. But she is just as positive that when their baby is born, everything will be fine…better. It's not.
