It's summertime in Silverdale and the warm weather has brought some new additions to town. A brand new café has just opened up and Ian's new business is booming. But it's not all sunshine and roses as the influx of out-of-towners causes friction.

When the Connor baby goes missing, Hilda Jo assumes that she and Irene will solve the case together. She's disappointed when Irene decides to leave town. Things start to look grim when the Perez family finds their youngest child gone too.
