Information Professionals 2050: Educational Possibilities and Pathways

Information Professionals 2050 (IP2050) was held on June 4-5, 2012 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina as part of the 80th anniversary celebration of the School of Information and Library Science. Sixteen information and library science leaders from around the nation participated. They presented position statements of their perceptions of how the changes on the horizon will impact how students are educated, how institutions are designed and how we may prepare for emerging technologies.
