Into the Abyss: Hostile Takeover

A terrorist attack on a major oil production platform in the Niger Delta leaves twenty dead and sends shockwaves through the global economy. With the eyes of the world’s intelligence services turned on Nigeria, former UK Special Forces operative turned arms dealer Alex Drayson is forced to look elsewhere for his murky business.

In London, Drayson is approached by Adrien Savitundo, a charismatic Angolan opposition leader . He agrees to help plan and execute a military coup against Angola’s authoritarian and deeply corrupt regime, in return for the promise of a lucrative reward once Savitundo has come to power.

Drayson is drawn into an operation that will change his life forever. It soon becomes apparent that in Savitundo's dark world of corruption and competing power politics nobody can be trusted, and nowhere is safe.
