Beschreibung des Verlags

Chain mail is the craft of linking metal rings in various patterns to form chains or sheets of mail, which can be used for jewelry, armor, or costume.

In this e-book, the author covers all the information a beginner needs to get started making chain mail items. Three different patterns (called weaves) are covered, two chain weaves and one sheet weave. Instructions for shaping the sheet weave are included, as is one simple project.

There are sections on chain mail history, the different metals commonly used, and other essential information. At the end of the book are sources for supplies and more information.

Liz Cademy teaches chain mail at various locations in the North East USA, usually to sold-out classes.
