Currently, close to 1,400 Teamsters mechanics are negotiating a new contract with UPS Airlines. They are worried about their jobs being outsourced to other countries. The United Parcel Service employs nearly 240,000 Teamsters. It is the largest single employer of the union, which claims a total membership of 1.4 million.
