Danny Dunn is a gifted eleven-year old with autism who carves ice sculptures in his front yard. His work astonishes the neighborhood and even lures an art professor who believes he's witnessing the start of a brilliant career. But when bullies vandalize his snowmen he doesn't notice, isn't hurt and continues to make them. They don't like that and the game turns violent as they stalk the boy. It's a dangerous game Danny doesn't even know he's playing.
