NASA astronaut Alex Shaw is past his prime, once a rising star he has in recent years been side-lined by new technology. Now almost irrelevant he is barely holding it together.



Then along came JOVE. When life is discovered on Jupiter he is given one last chance to make history when he is chosen to lead the first human mission to the newly-discovered surface of the giant planet.
